Biography

Porky Hefer has been in advertising for sixteen years and is one of the country’s most awarded creative people.  He worked as a Creative Director at TBWA Hunt Lascaris, Cape Town, then at Ogilvy and Bozell in New York.  He returned to Cape Town to head up Lowe Bull.  He has worked on brands like BMW,  American Express, Nike, Levi’s, Coca Cola, Jaguar, Durex, Standard Bank and Nando’s.

The creative collective, Animal Farm, was established by Porky Hefer in 2007, to demonstrate the power of collaboration, exploring what can be achieved when people work together with a common goal.  Collaborating with specialists in various fields to create inter disciplinary solutions for a better life for all.
